Boston AmeriScape Ornament Boston Light
The first lighthouse in America. Boston Light sits on Little Brewster Island guiding ships safely to the southern entrance to Boston Harbor, which was the main shipping channel for many years. The current lighthouse was built in 1783 and continues to be a welcome sight for mariners headed into to Boston Harbor from the south. In 1998, it was last lighthouse in the United States to be automated.
